David After His Visit To The Dentist
Loading ...7-year-old David had a tooth removed in May of 2008. While almost all of us have felt the sensations (delights?) of coming out from under sedation, we usually don’t have someone with a camera taking in the action. Dad says he did it to show Mom (since she was unable to accompany them to the appointment), but somewhere along the line they decided to share it with the world. 30 million views later, people are still laughing. Dad says, “This was taken in the parking lot of the dentist office. He was so out of it. The staff was even laughing. This lasted for a few hours and he was fine. He even laughed at the video that night. He is very smart and always has something interesting to say about many different issues. His philosophical reaction to the medication didnt really suprise us.”
I thought that was very funny. As a parent I do realize that there are times that we must have our children go through painful moments, but if we can look back at those moments and laugh it can make all the difference in the world. I applaud this child’s father for taking the initiative to film his son on this day.
I saw this video on another site and they overshadowed the boy with a costume of Darth Vader.

You shouldn’t really laugh at kids who have has medical procedures but he seems fine and numbed up and not feeling a thing so it’s ok. It’s just so funny to watch his reaction right after leaving the dentist with the anaesthetic still working and just hearing the great words of wisdomthat come from this 7 year old, brilliant.
