I filmed this at the Aviaros del Caribe sloth sanctuary in Costa Rica – the world’s only sloth orphanage. Baby 2 and 3 toed sloths, whose mother’s have either been run over or zapped by power lines are brought to the sanctuary and looked after by Judy Arroyo. For more sloth photos and vids visit my blog pinktreefrog.typepad.com or follow me on twitter amphib_avenger. For more on the sanctuary go to slothrescue.org. Music: “Scrapping and Yelling” by Mark Mothersbaugh from “The Royal Tenenbaums” movie soundtrack.

Kenny “K-Strass” Strasser likes to go from school to school inspiring children with the art of the yo-yo and teaching them about the environment…well, really…not so much of either one. Does he know how to yo-yo himself? It would appear not. Time after time, the local news folks accommodate and promote this guy.

It’s about 20 minutes long, but literally a MUST SEE for any real Beatles fan! Mind-blowing…

Notes: This Fab Faux recording of most of side two of ‘Abbey Road’ is a live, in-the-studio performance for a two-camera video shoot. It was originally recorded for The Howard Stern Show and only the audio has been broadcast – until now. Howard and company were kind enough to let us video tape the session.
In the end, there were only three minor guitar fixes and each section was recorded in no more than three takes (most were two).
There are NO added overdubs within this performance.
The audio is pure – and mixed by Joe Chinnici.

Imagine being a frustrated musician. You take a job teaching orchestra at a high school…listening to mediocre music all day long, and dealing with a bunch of distracted, mouthy kids. This guy’s behavior isn’t really all that surprising, is it?

This is way more effective than a sermon on the subject of seat belts…and probably some laws as well. Beautifully done.
